"We are certain that the people of Croatia will know how to respond
to the Pope's gesture," Racan said at a government session.
He described the June 5-9 visit as one without precedent because it
was John Paul's 100th and he was making it to Croatia.
"The Pope will literally tour the entire Croatia, and there's no
need to say what that means for us," said the PM.
"He is undoubtedly a man advocating peace, tolerance, fairness,
helping the weak on a global scale," Racan said.
