Wednesday continued to search houses in the south-eastern part of
Bosnia's Serb entity, near the Montenegrin border, where the most
wanted war crimes fugitive, Radovan Karadzic, is allegedly hiding,
an SFOR spokesman said. #L#
Seven rifles, three hand grenades and other weapons and ammunition
were confiscated during searches of private houses in Zabrezje, a
village near Rogatica, said Tommaso Magistretti, spokesman for
SFOR's multinational division for the southeast sector.
Speaking to Republic of Srpska television on Tuesday, SFOR
commander William Ward said SFOR was carrying out certain
activities on a daily basis for the purpose of arresting people
indicted for war crimes, including Karadzic.
