Earlier today, Jovanovic met Croatia's Foreign Minister Tonino
Picula and European Integration Minister Neven Mimica. Jovanovic
was also received by President Stjepan Mesic.
Racan said that it was the government's responsibility in both
countries to activate all possibilities to remove problems from the
past and to adapt the concept of cooperation to peace time
conditions. Racan and Jovanovic agreed that changes in the visa
regime were a positive step in the two countries' relations and
stressed the significance of cooperation in border regions.
