About 100 members of Jewish communities from Zagreb, Osijek,
Belgrade, and Sarajevo laid wreaths.
The chief Rabbi for Croatia, Kotel Da-Don, led a brief service.
Some 2,000 Jews, mostly from Bosnia-Herzegovina, passed through
the Djakovo concentration camp, which was a stop on the way to
Jasenovac and Auschwitz.
