Tomac thanked the Norwegian minister on his country's support
during Croatia's fight for independence but also on future
financial assistance which will help Croatia meet conditions for
joining the EU, the statement said.
Peterson said the case of Norway, which is not an EU member, was a
paradox for two reasons -- Norway is not an EU member country, but it
is economically connected with the EU by an agreement on economic
cooperation, which means the country is not a politically but
economically integrated. The second paradox is that the Norwegians
support the expansion of the EU, excluding Norway, the minister
said.
