on Wednesday received Norwegian Foreign Minister Jan Petersen, the

Granic notified the Norwegian minister of efforts taken by the
Ivica Racan cabinet in the process of Croatia's drawing closer to
the European Union.
Commenting on political issues regarding the admission into the EU,
Granic spoke about Zagreb's commitment to full cooperation with the
Hague-based International Criminal Tribunal for the former
Yugoslavia (ICTY) as well as to the completion of the process of the
return of refugees.
He said it was in Croatia's interest to enhance relations with its
neighbours and thus contribute to the stability of the region.
Minister Petersen expressed satisfaction with good political
relations between Croatia and Norway, and added the two countries
had many possibilities for bilateral cooperation, particularly in
the economic field.
