PODGORICA, May 28 (Hina) - Ranko Krivokapic, leader of Montenegro's Social Democratic Party (SDP), will be elected the new president of the Montenegrin parliament after Filip Vujanovic vacated the post following his election as the
country's president.

Krivokapic's election was agreed on Tuesday by partners in the
ruling coalition - the Democratic Party of Socialists and the SDP, a
senior SDP official and parliament vice-president, Rifat Rastoder,
told Hina.
Rastoder also confirmed that Krivokapic would be elected
parliament president at the first parliamentary session, to be held
at the end of next week.
