"Regardless of surveys, the government must continue working and making decisions," Kosor said in response to reporters' questions about opinion polls, while visiting the northern town of Novi Marof.
"We are working on all economic projects and big investments. They will certainly contribute to creating a certain number of jobs, which is the most important thing," Kosor said, adding that her cabinet was also working persistently on the closing of Croatia's European Union accession negotiations.
Reducing unemployment and ensuring an economic upturn are big tasks this year, she said.
"I believe that our plans will be implemented and this is being evidenced by good export results."
In this context she praised the ZMH Horvat company, whose newly-opened plant she visited earlier in the day in Konjscina, for an 80-percent rise in exports to European Union member-states.
"We are doing our job and I am sure that eventually citizens will be satisfied," Kosor said.
"The investments which we launched for the first and second quarter as well as for the remainder of the year, are already producing results which are often not visible right away. A part of the Economic Recovery Programme which we are implementing will produce results in one or two years," Kosor said.
