After the talks, Tomac told reporters the Sabor's Presidency had
entrusted him with organising, in cooperation with the Alliance,
the 60th anniversary of the ZAVNOH and the reunion of Istria,
islands and Medjimurje with Croatia, to include the highest state
officials.
Tomac said that Croatia and its constitution were based on the
ZAVNOH's conclusions and anti-fascism, a fact which should be given
more importance in the media and school programmes.
A state event marking the reunion of Istria, islands and Medjimurje
with Croatia will take place in September, to coincide with the 60th
anniversary of the reunion, sources at the President's Office
said.
