"We are ending this year with a stable macroeconomic and political situation," Sanader said at a Government session.
He backed his claim by presenting numerous figures, for example that in comparison to November 2003, this November there were 2,000 less legal entities which had not settled their obligations to the state, or that the amount of unpaid liabilities in said period had gone down from 12.7 billion in November 2003 to 11.1 billion kuna this November.
Sanader also said the growth of the external debt had gone down, as had the national deficit and unemployment, while exports were growing faster than imports.
