ZAGREB, Dec 6 (Hina) - Efforts to boost foreign trade cooperation andincrease French direct investments in Croatia as well as in othercountries in the region including Bosnia-Herzegovina, Macedonia,Serbia-Montenegro and Macedonia were
the main topic of a recentmeeting, held in the French Senate in Paris.
ZAGREB, Dec 6 (Hina) - Efforts to boost foreign trade cooperation and
increase French direct investments in Croatia as well as in other countries in
the region including Bosnia-Herzegovina, Macedonia, Serbia-Montenegro and
Macedonia were the main topic of a recent meeting, held in the French Senate in
Paris.The gathering, which pooled about 100 French businessmen and other
interested parties, was opened by the Senate's President, Christian
Poncelet.
Croatian businessman Robert Lovric on Monday commented on the event at
which it was said that the entire region was interesting to French
investors.
The trade between France and Croatia in the first ten months of 2004
came to some 757 million dollars, with Croatian exports to France rising by
three percent to 151.7 million and imports falling by 3.6 percent to 606
million dollars.
