ZAGREB, Dec 13 (Hina) - Presidential candidate Anto Kovacevic submittedhis candidacy to the State Election Commission on Monday evening,saying that he would be more responsible than the current president.
ZAGREB, Dec 13 (Hina) - Presidential candidate Anto Kovacevic submitted his candidacy to the State Election Commission on Monday evening, saying that he would be more responsible than the current president.

"I would be more responsible than the incumbent president, Mesic, because I would defend our national interests in Brussels and would not implement servile policies in Zagreb," he told reporters as he submitted 16,200 signatures of citizens supporting his nomination.

Kovacevic is vice-president of the Christian Democratic Party (HKDU), but has suspended his party membership because of his presidential candidacy.
