SARAJEVO, Dec 3 (Hina) - Bosnian Serb army general Dragomir Milosevic
has turned himself in to the authorities in Belgrade today and will be
transferred to the detention unit of the UN war crimes tribunal in The Hague,
chief prosecutor Carla del Ponte said on Friday.Speaking to the press in Sarajevo, del Ponte said she was not familiar
with all the details of the surrender but assumed it was voluntary.
During the 1990s war in Bosnia, Milosevic was commander of the Bosnian
Serb army's Sarajevo Romanija corps. He is accused of war crimes committed
against civilians during the siege of the Bosnian capital.
