MUNICH, Dec 1 (Hina) - The Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra, with Vjekoslav Sutej as conductor, on Tuesday evening held a concert at Munich's Prinzeregententheater concert hall, opening the Days of Croatian Culture in Bavaria.

The German audience gave a warm welcome and standing ovations to the Zagreb orchestra. Croatian Culture Minister Bozo Biskupic, who was present at the event, said that the Days of Croatian Culture in Bavaria would continue on Wednesday with an exhibition of Croatia's cultural heritage on UNESCO's list of protected world heritage. The exhibition was staged at UNESCO's palace in Paris in early October.

The Bavarian audience will also be able to see the best Croatian film achievements.

The event will last until December 5.
