ZAGREB, Nov 21 (Hina) - Croatian director Zrinko Ogresta's "Tu" (Here)has won the best film award as well as the prestigious KrzysztofKieslowski Award at the 27th annual Denver International Film Festivalin the US, the Interfilm production company from Zagreb said onSunday.
ZAGREB, Nov 21 (Hina) - Croatian director Zrinko Ogresta's "Tu" (Here) has won the best film award as well as the prestigious Krzysztof Kieslowski Award at the 27th annual Denver International Film Festival in the US, the Interfilm production company from Zagreb said on Sunday.

Ogresta won the Krzysztof Kieslowski Award, named after the renowned Polish film director, in ex aequo with Latvian director Laila Pakalnina's "Pythons".

Festival director Ron Henderson said in a note informing Interfilm about Ogresta's victory that "Tu" was an extraordinary film, a genuinely powerful work that the festival had been honoured to show.

"Tu" has already won four major European awards.
