ZAGREB, Nov 29 (Hina) - Croatian Assistant Foreign Minister DrazenMargeta visited the Sultanate of Oman between 24 and 27 November,during which he signed a memorandum on regular consultations betweenthe two foreign ministries and
discussed the strengthening of economiccooperation with his hosts.

Margeta visited the Sultanate of Oman between 24 and 27 November, during which
he signed a memorandum on regular consultations between the two foreign
ministries and discussed the strengthening of economic cooperation with his
hosts.The Croatia Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Monday that both
sides expressed great interest in economic cooperation.
Some 200 Croatians are already working on oil and gas research in a
joint company and the maintenance of oil plants in Oman. Margeta and his hosts
also discussed the expansion of economic cooperation in the area of
infrastructure, road construction, naval and air ports, and tourism.
One of the world's richest people, Sultan Qaboos bin Said al Said last
year spent part of his holidays in southern Dalmatia on his 103-metre-long
yacht, the Al Said.
