ZAGREB, Nov 15 (Hina) - The association of Croatian exporters on Monday presented the model of sponsored representation of Croatian exporters in the sultanate of Oman as an example of efficient and financially acceptable presentation of Croatia's export and business activities in Oman and the Arabic peninsula.

A company called "GenTec", which is a Croatian business branch in Oman's capital Muscat, was founded in early September. Co-founder was an Arabic businessman. A total of EUR46,000 have been invested in the company so far, the executive director of the company and director of the AC Nielsen Croatia and Slovenia company said.

The Croatia-Oman trade is modest. In the first eight months of 2004 it amounted to only EUR600,000 or which 286,000 covered Croatia's exports.
