HND REPORTS BURGLARY OF REPORTER'S FLAT

ZAGREB, Nov 27 (Hina) - The Croatian Journalists' Association (HND) onSaturday reported that unidentified perpetrators on Friday burglarisedthe Zagreb flat of a reporter with the Croatian Medical Journal, BorkaCafuk, taking only the reporter's laptop, which the HND believes is anattempt to disclose a source of information and prevent the reporterfrom performing her duties.
ZAGREB, Nov 27 (Hina) - The Croatian Journalists' Association (HND) on Saturday reported that unidentified perpetrators on Friday burglarised the Zagreb flat of a reporter with the Croatian Medical Journal, Borka Cafuk, taking only the reporter's laptop, which the HND believes is an attempt to disclose a source of information and prevent the reporter from performing her duties.

The HND urged the police to promptly investigate the case.

Zagreb police confirmed the theft to Hina, but they did not confirm that the only item stolen was the reporter's laptop. The police said they would comment on the case in more detail at a news conference on Monday.

The Medical Journal is the bulletin of the Croatian Chamber of Physicians.
