Zuzul and his colleagues from other candidate-countries and the 25 EU member-countries will attend a conference dedicated to the assuming of obligations in the civil components of European security operations. This is the first time since it was awarded candidate status that Croatia is attending a meeting on the common foreign and security policy.
The conference is held on the margins of a meeting of the EU's General Affairs and External Relations Council, which is made up of foreign ministers from member-countries.
Defence Minister Berislav Roncevic will take part in a meeting of the EU Troika defence ministers and their colleagues from Bulgaria, Romania, Norway, Turkey and Iceland.
This is the first time Croatia is attending such a meeting. Its purpose is to inform EU candidate-countries and European NATO members which are not EU members about the content and conclusions of a meeting of EU defence ministers, which will be held on the same day.
