PRISTINA, Nov 5 (Hina) - The President of the Alliance for Kosovo'sFuture, Ramush Haradinaj, said on Thursday he would not oppose hisbeing questioned by representatives of the International CriminalTribunal for the former Yugoslavia
regarding several investigationsthe tribunal was conducting against him over the events during the warin Kosovo in 1998 and 1999.
PRISTINA, Nov 5 (Hina) - The President of the Alliance for Kosovo's
Future, Ramush Haradinaj, said on Thursday he would not oppose his being
questioned by representatives of the International Criminal Tribunal for the
former Yugoslavia regarding several investigations the tribunal was conducting
against him over the events during the war in Kosovo in 1998 and 1999.Haradinaj said in a statement he had informed an ICTY representative in
Pristina he would attend a meeting in Pristina next week so as to answer all
questions regarding accusations against him which refer to the period between
1998 and 1999.
"I want to let everybody know that I am not against this procedure,"
said Haradinaj, who was the Kosovo Liberation Army Commander for the
Dukagjinija region.
Haradinaj said he had no information about what he was charged with.
