ZAGREB, Nov 5 (Hina) - The president of the Croatian RailwaysManagement Board, Tomislav Josip Mlinaric, said on Thursday evening ata meeting with representatives of the railway companies included inCorridor X, the corridor was of an
extreme importance for Croatianrailways and added that it must reach the pre-war level oftransportation of passengers and cargo as soon as possible.
ZAGREB, Nov 5 (Hina) - The president of the Croatian Railways
Management Board, Tomislav Josip Mlinaric, said on Thursday evening at a
meeting with representatives of the railway companies included in Corridor X,
the corridor was of an extreme importance for Croatian railways and added that
it must reach the pre-war level of transportation of passengers and cargo as
soon as possible.The tenth pan-European corridor goes from Salzburg to Thessaloniki of
which 37 kilometres goes through Croatia.
Apart from representatives of railway companies, the meeting in Zagreb
was also attended by representatives of two Croatian ministries -- the Tourism,
Transport and Development Ministry and the European Integration Ministry --
as well as representatives of the ARGE Management Interest Group, members of
the European Committee on the Economy and Social Dialogue and a permanent study
group for transport, energy, infrastructure and computer engineering.
