The agreement was initialled by Serbia and Montenegro Assistant Human and Minority Rights Minister Jelena Markovic and Croatian Foreign Ministry State Secretary Hido Biscevic.
The agreement will be signed on November 15, when Croatian Prime Minister Ivo Sanader is scheduled to visit Serbia and Montenegro, said its Human and Minority Rights Ministry.
Minister Rasim Ljajic said last week the agreement envisaged the establishment of a mixed commission which would deal with the issues of the Croatian minority in Serbia and Montenegro and the Serbian in Croatia, and ways of improving their position.
Serbia and Montenegro has signed such agreements with Hungary, Romania, and Macedonia.
