The Balkan Regional Conference, which is financially supported by the Norwegian Foreign Ministry, pooled 130 representatives of civil organisations, media, international organisations and governments from Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia and Serbia and Montenegro.
The objective of the conference is to draw up a regional plan of activities in peace-building in Southeast Europe for the next ten years. The plan should be presented to the UN in July 2005.
The conference ends on November 6.
