ZAGREB, Oct 15 (Hina) - The promotion of regional cooperation andcooperation on the road towards the European Union and NATO were maintopics of an informal meeting of foreign ministers of Macedonia,Albanian, Bosnia-Herzegovina,
Croatia, France and Serbia-Montenegro,which took place in the Macedonian lake resort of Ohrid on Friday.
ZAGREB, Oct 15 (Hina) - The promotion of regional cooperation and
cooperation on the road towards the European Union and NATO were main topics of
an informal meeting of foreign ministers of Macedonia, Albanian,
Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, France and Serbia-Montenegro, which took place in
the Macedonian lake resort of Ohrid on Friday."We have discussed the development of the entire region and the regional
cooperation in connection with preparations for admission to the EU, and
Croatia's success has been pointed out as an example which should be followed,"
Croatia's Miomir Zuzul said.
Commenting on criteria which must be fulfilled on this road, French
Foreign Minister Michael Barnier confirmed that Croatia had made greatest
headway in the region in the field of reforms.
He pledged that the EU would help south-eastern countries adding that
there were plans for the implementation of 53 projects, worth four billion
dollars, in those states.
