ZAGREB, Oct 8 (Hina) - On the ocassion of Independence Day, CroatianPresident Stjepan Mesic, Parliament President Vladimir Seks and DeputyPrime Minister Jadranka Kosor on Friday laid wreaths and lit candlesat the Central Cross,
erected in the memory of Croatian Homealnd Warsoldiers at Zagreb's Mirogoj cemetery.
ZAGREB, Oct 8 (Hina) - On the ocassion of Independence Day, Croatian
President Stjepan Mesic, Parliament President Vladimir Seks and Deputy Prime
Minister Jadranka Kosor on Friday laid wreaths and lit candles at the Central
Cross, erected in the memory of Croatian Homealnd War soldiers at Zagreb's
Mirogoj cemetery.Apart from veterans minister Kosor, the Croatian government delegation
also included Health and Social Welfare Minister Andrija Hebrang, and
Environmental Protection, Toning and Contruction Minister Marina Matulovic
Dropulic.
The parliamentary delegation, led by Seks, also included parliament vice
presidents Luka Bebic and Mato Arlovic.
The Croatian government delegation also laid a wreath and lit a candle
at the grave of Croatia's first President Franjo Tudjman and at the Altar of
the Homeland at Medvedgrad on Mount Medvednica.
