Jos Haynes, EU consultant within the CARDS programme, said this at Tuesday's seminar called "Economic Integration in the Farm Sector", which pooled some 40 participants, Croatian experts from the agriculture ministry, the Zagreb Faculty of Agriculture, and farmers' associations.
Haynes, who is the author of a report on the impact which the bloc's farm policy had on Croatia's agriculture, said that much had to be done in many fields so as to enable local farmers to survive and succeed on the EU market.
