The EUR908,850 project is being carried out by Italy, Austria, Slovenia, Greece and Croatia and its main purpose is to upgrade the current system of waste water management in Adriatic coastal cities and draw up a multi-language handbook on the topic.
The project, which has been carried out from December 2003 until the end of 2006, is financed with 496,750 euros by the European Union. The rest of the sum is ensured by the countries-participants.
