Thirty-five banks generated profits while five generates losses totalling 41.66 million kuna. The highest loss, 23.66 million kuna, was recorded by Primus Banka, which is followed by Brodsko-posavska Banka with 14.73 million, Banka Splitsko-dalmatinska with 1.6 million, and Pozeska and Primorska banks, which lost less than one million kuna.
Zagrebacka Banka grossed in excess of 644.6 million kuna in profits. It retains the pole position in terms of assets which amount to 51.28 billion kuna and account for 24.18 percent of all banks' assets. Privredna Banka Zagreb follows, having grossed 359.67 million kuna in profits. Its assets are 38.9 million kuna. The third position in terms of gross profits is held by Erste & Steiermarkische Bank with 159.6 million kuna, while Raiffeisenbank Austria is third in terms of assets with 21.47 billion kuna.
The assets of all 40 Croatian banks totalled 212.1 billion kuna at the end of June, up 3.91 percent from the start of the year. Thirty banks recorded an increase while 10 recorded a decrease in assets' amounts. Among the three biggest banks in terms of assets only RBA recorded a notable increase, of 15.41 percent.
