After visiting the factory, Kosor told reporters that the management briefed her about Petrokemija's business results in 2010 and plans for 2011.
In the first quarter of 2011, Petrokemija recorded a profit with a 30 percent rise on the domestic market. This shows positive trends which the government advocates, Kosor said expressing satisfaction with the fact that there were many war veterans among 800 Petrokemija employees.
The managing board's chairman, Josip Jagust, spoke about increasing sales on the domestic market, adding that last year Petrokemija exported 850,000 tonnes of fertilisers.
