Speaking at a press conference in Zagreb on Sunday, Terselic said that the government had shown its political will to stand up to private initiatives aimed at rehabilitating the Ustasha ideology and Ustasha crimes.
She said that now that the monument to Ustasha Black Legion commander Jure Francetic was removed her committee would be dissolved.
At the end of the conference Terselic condemned a death threat issued by the head of the Lovinac branch of the ruling Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) party, Damir Masic, against Slobodna Dalmacija reporter Lada Kalmeta.
According to newspaper reports, Masic told Kalmeta over the phone on Saturday that he would "personally see to it that her child attends her funeral" and that he would "break her back".
The threat followed an article in which Kalmeta wrote that Masic was one of the members of the Lovinac Parish Committee which had decided a month ago to raise a monument to Ustasha government minister and writer Mile Budak.
