ZAGREB, April 8 (Hina) - The government's public relations office issued a statement on Friday afternoon denying media speculations that earlier in the day the government did not consider draft amendments to the law on constituencies due to objections from representatives of minorities.

"It is untrue that the acceptance of those draft amendments was planned for today's session of the government, neither was it announced anywhere officially. Therefore it is untrue that the amendments were halted by representatives of minorities," the statement said.
