"The government is following developments on the world oil market and
is calling on the INA Management Board and Supervisory Committee to do
all they can to find domestic reserves and deal with this unpleasant
situation," Sanader said at a government session.
The prime minister, however, expressed satisfaction with the latest
results of the macroeconomic policy.
He pointed out three positive messages from yesterday's session of the
Croatian National Bank Council -- the slowing down of the external
debt growth, the fact that after a long time, this year's first
quarter saw bank loans to companies grow faster than those to
citizens, and the fact that the number of insolvent companies has gone
down.
