ZAGREB, May 13 (Hina) - Parliament President Vladimir Seks on Thursday received the chief of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Mission to Croatia, Peter Semneby, who said cooperation between the mission
and parliament was developing very positively, parliament said in a press release.

Dialogue between the mission and the parliament is very open, and the
mission intensively cooperates with the parliamentary committees on
foreign policy, European integration, internal affairs and national
security, and on the Constitution, rules and political system, as well
as with parliament's delegation to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly,
the press release read.
Seks briefed Semneby about draft laws parliament is due to tackle in
the coming period, including bills on the direct election of mayors,
municipal heads and prefects, the establishment of a permanent
election commission, political parties, and the criminal code.
Seks also spoke about laws regulating the media, notably on Croatian
Radio Television and the recently adopted Media Law.
He thanked Semneby for OSCE's recommendations and help in the drafting
of laws, the press release concluded.
