"That is what chief prosecutor Carla del Ponte said too," the Croatian
minister replied to a reporter's question in the break of a two-day
conference of centrist and centre-right parties taking place in the
capital of the Bosnian Serb entity.
"According to our information, general Gotovina is not in Croatia. It
is an issue the Croatian government and the (Hague tribunal's) Office
of the Prosecutor are continuously working on," she said.
Commenting on Friday's arrest of her party colleague and former
Foreign Minister Mate Granic on bribes charges, Skare-Ozbolt
reiterated she had been "unpleasantly surprised".
