Fighters held a news conference in Pula on Thursday at which its

treatment of anti-fascist fighters.#L#
The news conference was called ahead of May 9, the Day of Victory over
Fascism, Europe Day and the 60th anniversary of the reorganisation of
the Vladimir Gortan First Istrian Brigade.
"Even though we have tried to resolve the problem in various ways,
including through MP Damir Kajin, who has asked in parliament on a
number of occasions when anti-fascist fighters will be given back
their denied and lawfully earned rights, the situation hasn't changed
so far," Valic said.
He added he would write a report to send to every European country
which had fought fascism unless the government changed its stance.
