LJUBLJANA, May 6 (Hina) - Difficulties with the new electronic customs clearance system on Slovene-Croatian border crossings are being removed and the situation on Wednesday was much better than in the days since Saturday, but the
full normalisation will require a few more weeks, the director of Slovenia's Customs Administration, Franc Kosir, said on Thursday.
LJUBLJANA, May 6 (Hina) - Difficulties with the new electronic customs
clearance system on Slovene-Croatian border crossings are being
removed and the situation on Wednesday was much better than in the
days since Saturday, but the full normalisation will require a few
more weeks, the director of Slovenia's Customs Administration, Franc
Kosir, said on Thursday.#L#
He was addressing the Slovene parliament's foreign affairs committee
about the problems his administration was encountering since May 1,
when Slovenia joined the European Union and its border with Croatia
became the external EU border.
