ZAGREB, May 5 (Hina) - The Croatian government on Wednesday proposed that parliament confirm a framework agreement on a Council of Europe Development Bank loan in the amount of 292.4 million kuna intended for a refugee return
project.
ZAGREB, May 5 (Hina) - The Croatian government on Wednesday proposed
that parliament confirm a framework agreement on a Council of Europe
Development Bank loan in the amount of 292.4 million kuna intended for
a refugee return project.#L#
The funds will be used mostly for providing accommodation to refugees
and displaced persons and
for the restitution of their property.
The government will participate in the project with 121 million kuna
as envisaged by this year's budget.
Government members also agreed to establish commissions for this
year's purchase of medical equipment and ambulances for all counties.
Health Minister Andrija Hebrang said this decision was part of efforts
to reduce costs in the health system.
