ZAGREB, May 5 (Hina) - Bulgarian Vice President Angel Marin on Wednesday bestowed a high Bulgarian medal on Doctor Nikola Lazarov, who lives in the eastern Croatian city of Djakovo, for his contribution to the promotion of
Croatian-Bulgarian ties.

Wednesday bestowed a high Bulgarian medal on Doctor Nikola Lazarov,
who lives in the eastern Croatian city of Djakovo, for his
contribution to the promotion of Croatian-Bulgarian ties.#L#
At the ceremony, held in the city of Osijek, Dr. Lazarov, who was born
in Bulgaria, said he was feeling very well in his homeland of Croatia
and that he had been happy to help promote friendship between the
Bulgarian and Croatian people.
Doctor Lazarov, who worked also as an activist of the Red Cross, was
decorated by Bulgarian President Georgi Prvanov with the medal called
'Madar's Cavalryman - 1st degree'.
Present at the ceremony were Bulgarian Ambassadors to Croatia and
Bosnia-Herzegovina, Viktor Vikov and Ljupce Troharov.
