ZAGREB, April 28 (Hina) - It is still uncertain whether the Croatian Parliament will debate unacceptable allegations from Hague tribunal indictments this Friday, sources in Parliament said on Wednesday, adding that a three-member
working group entrusted with drawing up conclusions for the debate failed to reach an agreement and that judging by statements by some of its members it was not likely to reach an agreement.

A member of the working group, Miroslav Rozic of the Croatian Party of
Rights (HSP), said there was no chance of holding the debate on the
ICTY indictments on Friday.
Apart from Rozic, the working group also includes Luka Bebic of the
Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) and Zlatko Tomcic of the Croatian
Peasant Party (HSS).
Rozic said the HSS had proposed conclusions which were acceptable to
the HDZ, but not to the HSP, which drew up its own
conclusions.
The HSS insists that the government is obliged to cooperate with the
Hague tribunal and should use all legal instruments to challenge the
unfounded allegations, such as the one on former Croatian political
and military leaders joining in a criminal enterprise to carry out
ethnic cleansing.
Deputies will discuss allegations contained in the indictments against
Croatian generals Mladen Markac and Ivan Cermak as well as in those
against six Bosnian Croats.
