SARAJEVO, April 16 (Hina) - The government of the Federation of
Bosnia-Herzegovina has postponed the adoption of a decision on the
request of five Croats for state guarantees necessary for their
provisional release pending trial before the ICTY until April 19.#L#
The attorneys of the five former high ranking political and military
officials of Herzeg-Bosna, whom the Hague-based war crimes tribunal
indicted on command responsibility, have requested guarantees from the
Bosnia-Herzegovina Presidency and the Federation government necessary
for their provisional release. The request has been included in the
agenda of the government's session held on Thursday.
The decision on this request, however, was not made because the
session was adjourned due to other engagements of the ministers.
Federation government sources confirmed the session would resume on
Monday when the request of the five ICTY indictees would be
discussed.
