Rights, parliament on Friday adopted a law on the security protection

The government, which moved the law, said the stricter measures were a
response to the growing threat of terrorism, i.e. the fact that ships
too could be targets.
The stricter measures go into force on July 1, by which time Croatian
ships and ports which want to be part of international navigation are
expected to draw up security estimates and protection plans.
