The stricter measures would be applied as of July 1.
Sea ministry state secretary Branko Bacic said respecting security
measures was a condition Croatian ships had to meet to be able to sail
in international waters, and which foreigners had to meet to be able
to tie in Croatian ports.
Parliament resumes the fifth session on Friday.
