Political Affairs Marc Grossman said in Pristina on Monday.#L#
Grossman said the implementation of the standards would be much more
difficult than before the eruption of violence in the province, which
he strongly condemned.
Grossman today held talks with UN Civil Administrator Harri Holkeri,
Kosovo President Ibrahim Rugova, and Prime Minister Bajram Rexhepi.
Any violence hampers talks on Kosovo's future, Grossman said calling
on all sides to invest more effort into implementing international
standards in Kosovo, so that its citizens could live in peace and
justice and without fear, regardless of their nationality and
religion.
The US diplomat left Pristina for Belgrade this afternoon.
