ZAGREB, March 25 (Hina) - Croatia's State Secretary for the Economy, Vladimir Vrankovic, will attend a meeting of state secretaries of CEFTA (Central European Free Trade Agreement) member states in the Bulgarian capital Sofia on March
26, the Ministry of the Economy, Labour and Entrepreneurship said in a statement on Thursday.
ZAGREB, March 25 (Hina) - Croatia's State Secretary for the Economy,
Vladimir Vrankovic, will attend a meeting of state secretaries of
CEFTA (Central European Free Trade Agreement) member states in the
Bulgarian capital Sofia on March 26, the Ministry of the Economy,
Labour and Entrepreneurship said in a statement on Thursday.#L#
The state secretaries of eight CEFTA countries are expected to discuss
planned activities for this year and ratification of agreements, and
exchange information on the distribution of concessions for
agricultural and food products in 2004.
The meeting will also discuss customs issues relating to the
implementation of Protocols 7 and 7a, which will regulate trade
between Croatia and the EU after EU enlargement on May 1, bilateral
negotiations between Romania, Bulgaria and Croatia on the
liberalisation of trade with the EU, and possible changes in trade
conditions after May 1.
Vrankovic will lead a delegation that will include representatives of
the ministries of foreign affairs, finance and agriculture, the
Chamber of the Economy and the Embassy in Sofia, the statement said.
