"Jordan and Croatia have great prospects for developing economic
cooperation, notably in tourism, the pharmaceutical industry and the
oil and gas industry," Mesic said after the talks.
A cooperation agreement between the two countries' chambers of economy
signed today is expected to contribute to that.
Croatian Chamber of Economy president Nadan Vidosevic announced a
Jordanian business delegation would visit Croatia in June or July. His
Jordanian counterpart Haidar Murad stressed that Jordan's market was
open and adjusted to international business standards.
Later today the Croatian delegation met Jordan's Prime Minister Faisal
al-Fayez and Foreign Minister Marwan Muasher.
Jordan was the last stop on Mesic's Arabian tour, which also took him
to Qatar and Syria.
