ZAGREB, March 9 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Ivo Sanader travels to Germany on Wednesday for a two-day official visit during which he will meet Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder and other senior government officials.

Germany on Wednesday for a two-day official visit during which he will
meet Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder and other senior government

Sanader and Schroeder will discuss bilateral relations between Croatia
and Germany, economic cooperation, Croatia's efforts to join the
European Union and NATO, and the current situation in Southeast
Europe.
The two heads of government will have a joint working lunch and a
joint press conference on Wednesday.
Also on Wednesday, the Croatian prime minister is due to meet the
president of the Bundestag, Wofgang Thierse, and members of
parliament.
On Thursday, Sanader is scheduled to meet German Foreign Minister
Joschka Fischer and representatives of the parliamentary opposition.
The Croatian prime minister will also meet representatives of the
Konrad Adenauer Foundation and the Croatian community in Berlin.
The visit will close with the laying of flowers at the monument to
15th century Croatian poet and scholar Marko Marulic outside the
former town hall in Berlin's Wilmersdorf district.
The Croatian delegation will also include Culture Minister Bozo
Biskupic.
