Romania and Croatia have the same objectives regarding Euro-Atlantic
aspirations, said Romanian PM Nastase, whose country is entering NATO
this year and the European Union in 2007.
The two PMs also talked about economic cooperation -- the
Constanza-Omisalj project. Sanader said Italy showed interest into
extending that oil pipeline to Trieste.
Croatia's Janaf (oil pipeline company) is interested in seeing the oil
pipelines go in both directions, Sanader said.
Croatia's delegation to Romania also includes the country's leading
businessmen who took part in an economic forum on the possibilities of
improving the two countries economic cooperation.
The Croatian and Romanian Foreign Ministers, Miomir Zuzul and Mircea
Geona respectively, signed an agreement on the succession of
agreements signed by the former Yugoslav federation and Romania, as
well as an agreement on cooperation in the health sector and
medicine.
