The military police, who are replacing the second contingent of the
military police after their six-month stint in Afghanistan, were bid
goodbye at Zagreb airport by Defence Minister Berislav Roncevic and
the Armed Forces' Chief-of-Staff, General Josip Lucic.
Roncevic told the police he would soon visit them in Afghanistan.
Military police platoons are the first objective in the partnership
with NATO, which Croatia has fully achieved and for which it has
received high marks, Roncevic said.
The second military police contingent returns to Zagreb on Saturday.
