BELGRADE, Feb 15 (Hina) - The main committee of the Serbian Revival
Movement (SPO) has decided with a majority vote that this party will
enter a minority government with the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS),
G17 Plus, and New Serbia regardless of who in parliament will endorse
the new government, SPO president Vuk Draskovic said on Sunday.#L#
The SPO has made this decision due to the need to resolve burning
state and national issues, Draskovic said and urged punishing the
perpetrators of all crimes committed under the Slobodan Milosevic
regime from 1990 through October 2000.
Draskovic had recently said the SPO would not enter a government
endorsed by the Socialist Party of Serbia unless this party renounced
Milosevic's policy and name.
The main committee of the G17 Plus party decided yesterday that it
would endorse a minority government to be proposed by Vojislav
Kostunica of the DSS. According to announcements, Serbia's new
government could be formed within the next two weeks.
