ZAGREB, Jan 27(Hina) - The Croatian parliament appointed presidents, vice presidents and members of 25 parliamentary committees and four delegations at the end of Tuesday's sitting.

vice presidents and members of 25 parliamentary committees and four

The Sabor unanimously accepted the composition of the working bodies
as proposed by the Committee on Election and Appointments after more
than a month of negotiations between clubs of deputies.
Neven Jurica of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) was appointed
president and Nikola Ivanis of the Croatian People's Party (HNS) vice
president of the Committee on Foreign Policy.
Drazen Bosnjakovic of the HDZ was appointed president and Ingrid
Anticevic Marinovic vice president of the Committee on the
Constitution, Rule Book and Political System.
The Sabor also appointed members of parliamentary delegations at the
Interparliamentary Union, the Council of Europe's Parliamentary
Assembly, the OSCE and NATO.
The parliament resumes its third session on Wednesday with a
discussion on the government's draft changes to the Law on VAT. The
Ivo Sanader Cabinet has proposed a two-percent reduction of the
current 22-percent VAT rate.
